Florida university says students tested positive for coronavirus after spring break trip

The University of Tampa said Saturday that five of its students who traveled together during their spring break recently tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

"UT has been notified that five UT students, traveling together and with other UT students during Spring Break, have tested positive for COVID-19," the university said in a tweet on Saturday.

The university did not disclose the names of the students, nor where they traveled during the break, which was earlier this month.

However, the university added that it "sincerely" wishes the students and others "who may be affected, a full and rapid recovery."

The parents - who probably paid for these ‘vacation’ should be hauled into court and fined for child abuse.

Anyone notice the surprising number of people around McDill’s Central Command that are infected? Wouldn’t we expect more infections around Orland or Miami? Ok, it’s probably a coincidence...

A little birdie told me that it was ONE kid that came back from Spring Break testing positive, but went back to the dorms and spread it to the other 4.

We had a freeper whose daughter was supposed to work at home but who went with her friends to party in Florida. Half the freepers who responded to the thread thought it was a great idea. Can you imagine.

It’s not just old farts. Many People over 40-50 are being infected. While we are doing our part, they are screening it up for the rest of us. They should not be allowed to return home but forced into quarantine for 2 weeks.

I know quite a few people who traveled over spring break, and came home to a changed world.

My own family was MAD I didn’t fly out to SEATTLE two weeks ago. Right about the time my elderly father found out he was exposed. He is past the danger time, but people are weird.
