Hands down, his worst song ever.

There’s at least one on every thread.

But so early in the thread?

Love the song, one of my favorite Clapton songs and not just because I knew a girl named Sally.

Ahh, summer of ‘77... 21 and havin’ fun! Hot car, hot girl, great job. Sigh.

It's funny about that: as soon as someone says they like something, some grump shows up and tries to ruin the party!

The one tune stuck in my head now is "Mama's got a squeeze box" by the Who.

Fun times, and on the whole, much better than the poor kids have it now!

Not a fan of the song bout not a hater, either. Much prefer “Let it Rain” and “Why Does Love got to be so Sad.”

I have not heard that song in years, but every now and then I think of it and get it stuck in my head. With that said, IMO it’s a great song.

With music like this I tend to reminisce about that era, the good times, the people. I lived in Watertown, SD then going to school.

Two of my favorites, along with Have You Ever Loved A Woman.
