Overall in the US yesterday, the number of new cases and deaths were both slightly DOWN.
Even in New York state, there were “only” ten deaths yesterday.
NY State 10 deaths OVERALL, not yesterday.

This site is great for seeing how many additional deaths & cases yesterday & today. You can toggle to switch between today & yesterday. There was a decrease in new cases & deaths comparing yesterday & today.
I’m seeing that we had 85 deaths reported today. Total deaths from 216 to 301.
Pretty steep increase, it looks certain the death toll will be in thousands.
