In reality, it looks some like people were casually discussing early reports about the virus in China.
The WP extrapolates this as a kind of 'briefing' in which Trump ignored warnings about the significance of the virus.
Did this on purpose? You mean leaving the US medical system vulnerable to an illness such as this even after the warning of Swine Flu? Barack Obama, The One, did nothing for this or Swine Flu.
