Its all-out class warfare in the Hamptons.
The year-round residents, the locals who serve and clean and landscape for the super-rich in the summertime and put up with all manner of entitlement and terrible behavior in exchange for good money are silent no more.
Theres not a vegetable to be found in this town right now, says one resident of Springs, a working-class pocket of East Hampton. Its these elitist people who think they dont have to follow the rules.
Its not just the drastic food shortage out here. Every aspect of life, most crucially medical care, is under strain from the sudden influx of rich Manhattanites panic-fleeing, bringing along their disdain and disregard for the little people and in some cases, knowingly bringing coronavirus.
The Springs resident says her friend, a nurse out here, reported that a wealthy Manhattan woman who tested positive called tiny Southampton Hospital to say she was on her way and needed treatment.
The woman was told to stay in Manhattan.
Instead, she allegedly got on public transportation, telling no one of her condition. Then she showed up at Southampton Hospital, demanding admittance.
Someone else took a private jet to East Hampton and did not tell anybody til he landed, the resident says. Thats the most horrendous aspect. The virus is already here, and we dont have any medical resources.
Were at the end of Long Island, the tip, and waves of people are bringing this st, says lifelong Montauker James Katsipis. We should blow up the bridges. Dont let them in.

Ina and Jeffrey running from the pitchforks!!!
Bew hew.
These elitists are disgusting.
This is the rich folks version of bugging out
Fly into Southampton
Tell the cook to order grocery delivery
Hospital Which probly has 5 ventilators if that and a staff that risks getting infected
Locals should block the bridges and airport runway
Two solariums.
My horses are Snoopy and Prickly Pete.
Short term, blowing the bridges might work.
Long term, food and fuel might be a problem, unless all future food and fuel deliveries are made by boat.
The Hamptons are mostly for the rich wall street elite. As they are the only that can afford to live there.
Who are the biggest hogs at the federal trough.
The endless taxpayer bailouts and QE made them rich and arrogant.
When they should be bankrupt.
There’s discussion up here to block the choke points in the canyons. I remember talking about that when I was a member of a local militia but regular people are actually saying it in public. I don’t think it will happen but who thought a few months ago we’d be in this situation?
The Hamptons, sequestering themselves much like in the DECAMERON, and will end up like MASK OF THE RED DEATH.
They like to escape to the land of do you know who I am? Where people will wait on them.
And these elitists all vote Democrat and hate Orange Man.
When ya gotta blow, BLOW!! Don’t talk.
I live near a lake (over 32k surface acres/ 320 miles of shoreline.
We have lots of elite and it is a pleasure to work for them.
There is a large Hospital nearby. No worries.
I would be working today if not for weather.
Ultrawealthy New Yorkers are demanding quarantine supplies delivered by helicopter to the Hamptons

Ha...only little people have boats,
We have helicopters.
And, yet, and number of these people are cool with the Democrat plan to have illegals free access to our health care...
