Just now got off the phone with my son that works in a hospital in Austin. He's wondering what they are going to do next week because they've canceled all surgeries and the emergency room is not much busier than normal.
His exact words were "overblown bullsh*t" but what does he know compared to the UK Telegraph.

I’m a 66 yo relatively healthy woman with mild hypertension. On Tuesday I felt super tired and had a cough, muscle aches, and a temperature fluctuating between 99.1 to 100.3 degrees F. All the signs of CV19 except for SOB. My temperature today is back to normal but I still have the other symptoms. I treated myself by resting and drinking lots of fluids.

I didn’t run to the doctor or the ER because there’s nothing they can do for me and I didn’t want to expose myself to others. OTOH if I had progressed to SOB I would definitely have sought treatment, but otherwise I wouldn’t be showing up at the ER and demanding a test to determine if I was ill. It’s just common sense, which is why I’m so confused about what I’m reading. WTF do they want us to do exactly?
