That actor did an incredible job in Chernobyl.

What a pussy Campbell was. Trudy could been Mrs MoeHoward and she chose that pipsqueak.

I loved the show and wanted it to go on into the 70’s and it could easily. The ending like the Sopranos was unimaginative and little effort put in like the writers just ran out of gas.

I quite liked Pryce.

I keep watching that series over and over. I was watching it last night, actually. I was born in the late eighties, but I love the fashion, and I can’t think of a much better era for automotive design than the late fifties and through the seventies. Muscle mania; although considering it’s Manhattan, there was little use for cars outside of taxi cabs.

My closing scene...Don finds his way to Portland, Oregon in late 1971. He goes to the airport to buy a ticket. He’s got a briefcase with him and wearing sunglasses.

Don to ticket counter: “I’d like to buy a plane ticket to Seattle.”

Agent: “Certainly, sir. What name should I put this under?”

Don: “Bert Cooper...eh,..um, Don... Cooper”

Agent: “Will that be one way or round trip?”

Don: “One way. Smoking, please.” He gets out his wallet and pays in cash.

Agent: “Your flight will depart at Gate 27 in a half hour. Thank you for flying Pacific Northwest.”

Agent finishes scribbling her notes and the camera zooms to the name “D.B. Cooper”.

Don walks away from the stationary camera through the terminal as anonymously as he entered Manhattan back in the 1950s. A total stranger with a secret identity. Fade to black.

Cue “Draggin’ the Line” from Tommy James as the credits roll.
