Nahhhhh! The "Abolish the 17th amendment" crowd has "educated" me, over and over, that since Abe Lincoln and the Civil War, or since 1917, OR since 1964 (they can't make up their minds which date), states have lost all authority to govern themselves and become worthless, figurehead puppets of the federal government. Obviously poor powerless Pritzker can't decide ANYTHING for Illinois citizens and just meekly does whatever Trump tells him to, and the only way to give Illinois government any power would be to abolish the eeeeeeeeeeeevil 17th amnedment and let crooked politicians from Chicago decide our Senators for us.
