This on top of Bayer, Teva, Mylan MV and others. It appears this drug is going into MASS production. Note that this is from one of Novartis' USA plants. Also note the Minnesota trial, which Novartis is "supporting".
Some excerpt from the article:
Novartis has 50 million doses in stock, and hopes to produce another 80 million by the end of May for donation.
....there is currently a 1,500-person trial, led by the University of Minnesota, to see whether hydroxychloroquine can prevent or reduce the severity of COVID-19.
(Novartis) plans to donate 130 million doses of the drug and is in talks with U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulators over expanding its use for coronavirus.
Link describing the trial. Note, this trial is to evaluate efficacy as a prophylaxis.

San Marino:135 cases, 20 deaths
Dr. Gabriele Rinaldi , director of the ISS Health Authority, updates on the Covid-19 situation in San Marino. There is a sad fact: there are six new deaths, one woman and five males. Overall, 20 deaths have occurred since the beginning of the infection. Nine new cases in the past 24 hours, two resignations. According to the data provided, 62 are hospitalized, 12 of whom are under intensive care, while 74 are at home. 11 swabs awaiting feedback. the quarantines390: 18 health workers are active, two of the police. We - reaffirms Dr. Rinaldi - have always classified a death from Covid-19, even if serious illnesses were in progress. Cases where Coronavirus may have accelerated heart failure. And not everyone does this.

SWITZERLAND
1,300 more cases in one day in Switzerland
Coronavirus The spread of coronavirus continues in the country. Adults are significantly more affected than children.
Saturday at 12 noon, the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) counted in Switzerland 6113 cases of declared infections with the coronavirus, nearly 1300 more than the day before. The number of deaths is 56, according to figures published on the website of the office.
These are based on the declarations received and seized on Saturday morning. For this reason, the figures may diverge from those communicated by the cantons, specifies the FOPH.
Adults are significantly more affected than children and, from the age of 60, men more than women. The cantons of Ticino (257.8 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), Basel-City (173) and Vaud (181.2) are the most affected.
Expected increase
These figures will further increase in the coming days in Switzerland. But the curve could flatten as early as next week, provided that everyone sticks to the measures, according to Daniel Koch, head of the crisis cell.
It is not the measures that will make the difference, but the behavior of the population, said Saturday the head of the communicable diseases division of the FOPH at a press briefing in Bern. Everyone must do everything to not be contaminated and not to contaminate the others.
WOW! That many? Horrible.
Hah!
But where do they dispose of these things?
Thanks for your posts.
Stay well.
You are a good person.
Good news.
Lookner on but 3 of the last 4 days youtube has been messing with his subscription and deleting it. He’s on. Just go straight to him.

FASCISM! This all part of a Swiss plot to overthrow Trump!
Oh, so cheerful....NOT.
Lol, amazing how the got some 110 countries on on their big scheme...
Not that they arent taking advantage of it, never let a crisis go to waste
Uh no.
If an asteroid struck the earth, the left would find a way to politicize and weaponize it. They do it with hurricanes, floods and earthquakes, so why should a pandemic to be any different?
