This video still smacks of over-hyped BS.

Absolutely. I watched my father die of pneumonia last year. He was 87 and it was awful. I wouldn't wish that on anyone and I never would have considered videoing his death throes to warn against bacteria pneumonia.

That said, it would be more awful if we created an economic situation where declining medical care is guaranteed and where seniors are left to die because they are a drain on the system--like in socialized Europe.

Smart, sensible policies are needed, not emotionalism and hysteria. Videos like this are unhelpful at best in that they urge us to make decisions based on fear rather than on prudence.

There is a direct correlation between all this panic and extreme measures that are being taken and the fact that people are living much longer these days then they were 40 years ago.... This is about the political ramifications of millions of people in their 70’s and 80’s dying from this virus..... Most of whom would not have lived this long in another era..... When they talk about the health care system being overwhelmed, it is all about these older people..... Not saying younger people can’t get it too, but in the old days when the life expectancy was 70 tops, these extreme measures would not be taken..... The West has become old and soft compared to when life was harder and people did not live as long
