That is true; however, the number of people who have dies so far in the US alone this season is around 20,000 people. Do the math. Is this Kung Flu worse? No.

As of March 14: "CDC estimates that so far this season there have been at least 38 million flu illnesses, 390,000 hospitalizations and 23,000 deaths from flu."

As of March 20: "COVID-19: U.S. at a Glance, Total cases: 15,219 Total deaths: 201" (No stats on Hospitalization from the CDC yet).

The death rate on the Diamond Princes ( a good scientific study) was .05% or 2 people out of 3870 (Max Capacity). Good for Comparisons. So I see 100 times as many deaths and 2000 times more cases so far for the Flu this season.

I disagree that it is not relevant.
