I was raised on cribbage but nobody plays it where I live. There’s a pretty decent app for android called cribbage classic at the play store. I keep it on my phone. Its got 3 levels of play..easy, standard and pro. I really like it. There are other crib games but in my opinion, this one is the best. Its very configurable and is closest to playing against a person with a real deck of cards.

Learning to be comfortable while shut in, takes practice. I personally find it very easy, but I’ve had years of practice.

Consider yourselves on vacation and do those little (or big) jobs and repairs around the house that you haven’t had time for. Do those floors, that painting, gutter cleaning, caulking..
It’s spring..put those gardens in. Do thise Christmas crafts and set the finished otems back. Go dig in the dirt with the kids or go sledding if you have snow. Then make some popcorn and hot chocolate and warm up so you can go back oit and do it again.

Do that bible study and prayer you’ve been hard pressed to find time for. Make good memories with your families and begin new traditions. I spent time years ago teaching my grandkids

And my kids before them..how to camp and fish. Whay memories we have of that! Today they’re avid outdoors folks, teaching their own kids. They know how to find food and survive in the wild.

To me, this quarentine is a nothing burger because I tend to hole up in winter. Me and the cold are not good friends any more. My age and health demands I stay off the ice and avoid the flu. Ive had to learn to destress, and like my own company. Quarentine is my normal lifestyle. I hate it when my people visit me when they are sick.

Learn to stop and smell the coffee. Slow down, don’t move so fast. Grab that cup of coffee and step outside on tje back porch, close your eyes and take a big stretch as you feel the sun carressing your face and body..filling you full of vitamin D. Drink it up and take a moment to thank God above for all that he’s given you.

Pull out a stack of printer paper, pencils, pens, paints..whatever and learn to draw. There are tons of lessons on line..youtube..for free. Pull out that old instrument you stuffed into storage..learn to play it again, teach your young people how to play. Make some family music. Learn to belly dance with your kids ladies! Free how to’s on line. You and the kids will laugh your butts off. Makes good memories and you might be surprised to learn you have a budding dancer.

Most people work so hard for so long that you’ve forgotten how to live, laugh and love. Thank God he’s given you this moment of freedom, peace, joy.
