A nurse in Texas today on the Reddit nursing forum:

"They're trying to manipulate us into thinking that simple masks are enough and THEY ARE NOT ENOUGH. I will not accept an assignment if I don't have the proper protection. How do we go about this? Are any of you refusing assignments if management can't provide you PPE? We can't just let this slide by. Our lives and our families lives are worth more than that. I'm prepared to stand up for myself and my colleagues. If I get fired in the process, so be it."
