The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram.

Today’s CG is from yesterday’s Arkansas Gazette. It’s one of these CGs that take off like a rocket, and you can’t write the answer fast enough. To make it a bit more challenging, try solving it line by line.
2 minutes is excellent but many of you will solve this under 1 minute!
I had to start with 2nd word first, then I was able to solve line by line. Thanks for these puzzles each day as we home isolate. Everyone stay safe.

I love sharing the fun, but many times I think that there’s only a handful of people out there doing them.

Got the first word and the rest was easy
The first word is obvious, and it gives away the second word. As you say, after that it’s automatic.

1. do NOT stop the CG. Many, though we may not post, depend on it to get our heads on right in the AM.
2. Re today’s quote. I guess the fact that it bothers me that people brag about finishing the CG in mere seconds indicates an underlying sense of inadequacy....or something...lol

Difficult at first, but getting the common letter gave the first word, and then it was easy.
Oh it would be very missed, please don’t stop!
Pretty much as fast as I could type it today, under 2 minutes, and a very true and prescient sentiment it is, too!
While I rarely comment on these posts, I greatly appreciate you doing the CG - I really look forward to them every day !
