Day #19 here:
http://freerepublic.com/focus/chat/3825446/posts?q=1&;page=1
Im not sure if thats whats going on
lots of videos today of military and civilian nurses and doctors and such packing up and leaving Wuhan, job done.
40K returning home
All recorded with melancholy elevator music:
Wuhan Today: City bids farewell to life savers
Until we meet again- medical assistance teams start leaving Wuhan
Tianjin medical workers say their goodbye to Wuhan residents before departing
not really liking this one:
Wuhan China Medical Aid Teams are going to Travel to Europe to Rescue people from Pandemic COVID-19
The only way this will work is by testing.
The Imperial Report, which everyone is reading, says well have millions of US deaths in the next 18 months unless we crash our economy, basing its models on China (extrapolated, apparently).
So I suppose China (and Japan, and S Korea) need to assume a COVID resurgence is coming, so they better hurry and continue the collapse!!!
It is more expensive, but Fairlife ultra filtered milk has long exp dates. The 2 half-gallons that I bought the other day have exp dates in mid-June.
It tastes better than regular milk, has a higher protein content and is lactose free.:) Bonus is that very few people know this, so it is usually still on the shelf. It is about 2x cost of regular milk.
Their chocolate milk is amazing; the same company also makes Core Power protein drinks...yum!
bttt
Came home, took a “nap” and woke up 8 hours later:) thank you for prayers too.
There’s a real split in my city, work and friends/family- just like on FR. Some see what’s happening as a catastrophic overreaction with repercussions of historic proportions. Lives being ruined by economic destruction, anarchy and civil unrest in the country. Others see the disease as equally historic and potentially catastrophic, without harsh mitigating actions it will be a society killer.
200, 500, 600mg. hydroxychloroquine. Now they need to break it down to which is the most effective dose. While trying not to trigger a mutation.
It really sucks that China stole not one, but two months from the world. We could have stopped this virus cold. We could have potentially saved a lot of lives.
And now the CCP wants to fly around Europe ‘rescuing’ them.
CRUISE SHIP - Costa Luminosa
11:20 p.m.: Global Affairs Canada says at least 77 Canadians are on a trans-Atlantic cruise ship that has several COVID-19 cases among its passengers.
Costa Luminosa, which has more than 1,400 people on board, is heading for the French Mediterranean port of Marseille.
HAWAII - Air Canada
An Air Canada flight attendant has tested positive for the coronavirus in Hawaii, and was the first of that states 16 current COVID-19 patients, according to local media.
UNITED NATIONS
An accredited journalist covering the United Nations headquarters in New York has tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19).
They are already free of symptoms and self-isolating. We have been informed that the individual was last at UN Headquarters on Thursday, March 12. They attended the spokespersons noon briefing and spent time at the Delegates Lounge and in the press area on the third floor,
This is the second known case at the UN headquarters after a delegate from the Permanent Mission of Philippines tested positive for the virus on March 13. UN spokesman, Mr Stephane Dujarric, who confirmed the first case in a statement said the fellow met with two delegates from another mission at the complex on March 9
AFRICA -
The World Health Organisation (WHO) Regional office for Africa in Brazzaville, Congo, says there are now 633 confirmed cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Africa in 33 countries.
ITALY - Bergamo
‘A generation has died’: Italian province struggles to bury its coronavirus dead
In Bergamo, a province of 1.2 million people in the Lombardy region, where 1,640 of the total deaths in the country have taken place, 3,993 people had contracted the virus by Tuesday. The death toll across the province is unclear, but CFB, the areas largest funeral director, has carried out almost 600 burials or cremations since 1 March.
In a normal month we would do about 120, said Antonio Ricciardi, the president of CFB. A generation has died in just over two weeks. Weve never seen anything like this and it just makes you cry.

Italian army moves coronavirus dead from overwhelmed town
MILAN (Reuters) - Italy ordered the army to move bodies from a northern town at the centre of the coronavirus outbreak where funeral services have been overwhelmed as the government prepared to prolong emergency lockdown measures across the country.
Video shot by local people in Bergamo, northeast of Milan, and shown on the website of the local newspaper Eco di Bergamo, showed a long column of military trucks driving through the streets overnight and removing coffins from the town’s cemetery.
An army spokesman confirmed on Thursday that 15 trucks and 50 soldiers had been deployed to move bodies to neighbouring provinces. Earlier local authorities in Bergamo had appealed for help with cremations after they had overwhelmed its crematorium

The second is testing only after symptoms appear. This obviously helps with treatment decisions.
The first option was never possible in the U.S.
The second option has been so delayed that we continue to fly blindly into the vortex.
Thus for rule one in any battle, understanding the terrain where you must fight, we are and remain clueless. As far as testing catching up an example from the South Korean breakout needs to be remembered. Their first 30 cases were controlled. But patient 31 was not. He infected two small clusters which then grew to account for 80-85 % of their cases.
AUSTRALIA - TRAVEL BAN

Medina Co. - 57-year-old Medina County woman who recently returned from travel abroad
Good grief. STOP with the travels!
Walmart decreasing social distance.
are these refugees from England or escaping Americans that got in before the shutdown?
A guy I’m tracking hopped a plane from Detroit to Hong Kong last night? two nights ago? thinking China’s quarantine wouldn’t apply to him (as if). So I know the planes are flying out. But I didn’t know we still had them flying in.
People need to find a couch and park it.
Good. Keep it halted forever.
