You need to do a little more homework on the numbers—I am not talking about “stragglers” here.
The disease was spreading exponentially for a month.
Most of the people who have the disease (and will require hospitalization, and the percentage of those that will die) are not showing symptoms yet.
That is because half of the new cases are from the last three days (or so) of significant spread.
Dont know but I warned by daughter against that about 2 hours ago for our grandkids...
Make it. There’s a great argument to be made that we should just take the hit. Like an asteroid hitting the planet. “Some of you f*ckers are gonna die!” Getting rid of 80 year old parasites is a good thing. It “saves Social Security”. We shouldn’t be bailing anybody out. It’s called “creative destruction”. When the smoke clears and the ashes settle the survivors will experience the “Second Renaissance”.

It’s the million dollar medical bills that scare us and is why we’ve been self quarantining for a cpl weeks now.
Hubby is type A blood, has asthma, high blood pressure and will be 50 in a cpl years.
Mortality says he probably won’t die, even with those things. HOWEVER he would have a greater than average chance of an ICU stay. We simply can’t afford that.
Simultaneous release in 100 cities would surely indicate an intentional attack and invite a counterattack. Wouldn’t an attack on 100 cities ignite nuclear reprisal and WW III / Armageddon?
