People with blood type A might be more vulnerable to the coronavirus, while those with type O blood could be more resistant, according to a new preliminary study from China. Researchers studying COVID-19 in its outbreak epicenter, Wuhan, and the city of Shenzhen found the proportion of Type-A patients both infected and killed by the disease to be “significantly” higher than those with the same blood type in the general public.

So in the article it says if you are Type-A does that mean -A or is that just a hypen be?

Hubby is A- too.

In the article, ‘Type-A’ was written in one instance, but several other times, it was written as ‘Type A,’ so I think it was simply a matter of inconsistent terminology in the way the article was written. So it was just a hyphen, it was not referring to A negative blood in the one instance where it was written as ‘Type-A.’ Whether the Rh factor has any bearing on susceptibility to Covid-19 was not mentioned in the article, so I am doubtful that it matters.
