Art Bell used to have a guest on describing people getting lost in forest areas. He spoke of toddlers ‘wandering off’ from the family during an outing. Much later that toddler’s remains were found on top of a mountainous crest, an area impossible for any human child to ever have climbed up.
This was right after two days of heavy rains that delayed the search. Just another unexplained demise of a forest visitor.

You need to read the Missing 411 series, they are fascinating!
As for boogers as we call them in the mountains. I don’t know where I stand on them. I live in the mountains and have had weird stuff happen over the years that I can’t explain. Could something like that exist, I guess, we are always finding new species around the world, so I don’t rule them out completely.
David Palides deals in missing w/o reasonable explanation. He’s a former police officer investigator. He is aware of bigfoot but doesn’t believe bf has anything to do with missing people such as you mentioned.
If anybody is interested in the topic, Palides has several Missing 411 books out. He asks that folks buy through him because amazon ups the prices so that they get a cut of the profits.
I absolutely love bigfoot stories..i listen to dixie cryptid, buckeye bigfoot, bigfoot files, howtohunt.com ..both hunting ans sasquatch related. There’s another one I just began listening to..a fella with an elglish or aussie accent but in the states. He does hour long or better interviews with eye witnesses. All can be found on youtube..but I will have to come back with the name of the radio/ hour long one. Its a fun way to spend some down time. And ISP’s are eliminating data caps so there’s something to do online.
