(This has an excellent description of the onslaught of her symptoms with details unlike I've yet seen. Worth the read.) > The actress said the first day she exhibited symptoms began with a "sore throat, fatigue and headache," which progressed to a "mild fever" of 100.3 on day two. Her fever was accompanied by "horrible body aches, shortness of breath, major fatigue" and "no appetite" as well as a "deep, dry cough." On day three, Matthews said she had no fever and "minor" aches while her lungs got "much worse". She continued to have shortness of breath, fatigue and no appetite as well. Matthews' lungs continued to remain heavy and she was short of breath on day four, despite her symptoms seemingly becoming "more mild," she wrote. She also lost her sense of smell and taste. Days five, six and seven consisted of "more or less the same" symptoms. "feeling more like myself, still experiencing shortness of breath, loss of appetite, fatigue and no taste/smell but overall, doing okay," the actress said of days five, six and seven. She also pointed out on Monday night that testing for coronavirus is "INSANELY hard to come by." The "Frozen 2" star said she only got tested after learning she had been around someone who also confirmed positive and showed symptoms.

“Cory was an incredible woman”
She sure was. I’ll bet she wouldn’t be whining about toilet paper.
...15-20 million people dead...
Yeah. Sure.
Here’s a good one by her:
Worry is a cycle of inefficient thoughts whirling around a center of fear.
Well, Trump is the one who would have to declare martial law, so if that’s not your theory, then the one you actually have is probably even more nonsensical.
Is there a price is too high for the US to destroy its social, economic and cultural heritage?
No I am not nonsensical and I am definitely inmplying that the POTUS will do it as a matter of policy and SOP for this situation. There is evidence that this is a chem/bio warfare incident of some kind which does have martial law in its options . We are currently in a National State of Emergency from which the next step is martial. You better learn to read on threads and think before you type.
I agree. I have been trying to find details on what patients experience. Apparently, body aches, fatigue and a dry cough are routinely experienced early on and should be the first clues.
Yeah, when is the part where it disfigures your limbs for life, turns your internal organs into goo or spikes your fever at 106 and your brain explodes?
What are we gonna do? Nuke em?
The CDC site just sucks. For example, Johns Hopkins shows over 5,000 cases today, CDC is still stuck at about 3,200.
Johns Hopkins is not well presented either. It is global in nature and does not show details for the US by cases over time. What is really important they ignore, the numbers of cases, deaths and recovered over time.
Don’t forget complete loss of appetite. That appears to be a very, early sign.
WOW. Thanks for sharing. Condolences and prayer.
Yes. Usually, we come in alone and go out alone. Enjoy what’s left. I do.
Father Time is undefeated, save one.
Maybe I should BLOG my own health symptoms...
No reason to believe I’ve been anywhere near active coronavirus, but I did start feeling like I have a cold coming on yesterday. Had a couple warm flashes and felt a bit “yucky” for a few hours yesterday so I sprayed my nose out with saline with some grapefruit seed oil in it (the oil is antifungal/antibacterial) and also took a dose of Alka Selzer Plus cold medicine and stated feeling a lot better as the day went on. Woke up feeling a bit more like a cold, with some more hot flashes (temp of 98.3 which is half a degree warm for me) and sprayed/took another dose, and took a Mucinex to stay ahead of what a cold might do to start congestion moving, and am feeling better now.
I’m 67 and not particularly worried about coronavirus as I take normal Flu season precautions - and generally have a couple sessions of mild cold feelings during the season and usually just treat the symptoms and end up feeling normal after 3-5 days.
Will update if anything heads south and I feel need to get checked out - unless I die, in which case the updates will stop...
Had to add the last because when i was stationed in Italy, we were going through a IG inspection and one of the inspectors asked a new troop what he would do if he had an accident (to see if he knew procedures to report such).
The troop thought or a second and said, I guess I’d tell my supervisor....unless I was killed, then I wouldn’t tell anyone.”
The inspector looked at his partner, said, “That sounds about right” and they left ...fast...I could see their shoulders shaking as they tried to not laugh out loud until they were out of sight/hearing of the young troop...
Last I read on the CDC website, the don't have a CV test yet for antibodies. Something about needing blood from a recovered patient 21 days after recovery so it is a waiting game for the test.
First, I’m 90% sure we had this in mid-Dec. If you look at who had the “flu” then, it’s an astounding #, only no one knew it was “this” China Flu. Impact? It means that this is far, far weaker than we are led to think. It also means that millions of Americans had it and are now immune. Doc friend of min agrees this is very weak.
6-7%? Try .006%. Right now, we have bout 60 deaths, of which almost 30 are from one single nursing home. Eliminate that, and you have 30 some deaths for a population of 360m??? And virtually ALL are older?
If I’m right about this being here earlier, ALL of the predictions and expectations are way, way too high.
The point is not to debate numbers...
Then don't bring ridiculous numbers up.
Sigh. Easy.
