LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- As the number of coronavirus cases in California rapidly escalates, Gov. Gavin Newsom is calling for all bars in the state to close. Newsom is also asking all Californians age 65 and older and those with chronic conditions to isolate themselves at home.
"We are calling for the home isolation of all those 65 years or older and all those with chronic conditions," Newsom said.
He said all bars, wineries, nightclubs and brewpubs should be closed.

I get the impression that even in red states, restaurants are preparing for the formal state government order to cease dine-in operations:
The police CANNOT or WILL NOT enforce:
homelessness
shooting up drugs on the streets
defecating on the streets
thefts of $950 & under
food carts & food trucks
most other crimes
but now, all of a sudden they can enforce an open bar or brew pub?

I would like to know, if these elders are to stay in their homes, is someone going to bring them their medications? Food? Other supplies?
Furthermore, are they to shut down ALL trucks stops?
Apparently, many people don’t like freedom and the risks it brings. If you chose to not go somewhere, OK. To have the government shut your businesses and make people stay isolated seems a bit of overkill. I guess some like fascist maneuvers by our “leaders”. Some mayor stopped the sales of guns and ammo. I guess that will stop people from shooting any virus that gets on their property. Smart thinking there...Genius!
