I’m not mocking those saying people should take reasonable precautions a bit over and above normal flu precautions - I’m one of them - but I’m mocking the people saying that this is nothing but the flu, nothing to see here, move on, don’t worry about it, only old people will die, etc., etc. Lots of them here on FR.
Yes, and they are mocking anyone who is looking at the CV as an illness more potent than influenza. The THING has not peaked yet.
It is NOT helpful and might cause some to put their guard down when they should not.
No one has ever said only old people are going to die, but that we don’t react to flu’s this way and they kill many more people each year. Amazing how you guys keep wanting to take what is being said out of context!
