At 4:00PM ET South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster will hold a press conference. Biggest subject will be school closures.
Initial reports have them putting the choice of closing or staying open on districts with no reported cases in their area in those district’s hands. Those with confirmed cases will be closed. Confusing enough?

Cuomo basically had to lose his cool at the media and the legislators in this press conference. I’m no fan of Cuomo’s, but he is a good manager and understands the job he signed up for - unlike our NYS legislature, apparently. Cuomo has handled this outbreak as well as I guess could be expected (and I think bringing out the Corps of Engineers is a great idea that should be implemented here, given the numbers of cases we will have).
I also appreciate him saying that the politics of this need to be left to another time when we are looking back at this in our rearview mirror.

The left loves this because it gives them an excuse to act like a totalitarian state. He’s bringing in the military now, and people even suspected will to be quarantined. Next I assume they will be rationing food.
The way I heard it, Cuomo is practically begging Trump to call for something akin to martial law so he, Cuomo, can blame Trump for whatever may go wrong.
OTOH, he does provide an excellent summary of the current status and some of the many things needed to handle this epidemic and its consequences...
Most of what he describes in his "open" letter to POTUS are things he knows are already under way or under consideration by the POTUS... So he is basically positioning himself as the serfs future hero...
Like anything ever proposed or implemented by these marxist scum, all their favorite "control" items & policies have to be included in any solution...
A classic example is the virus "porkulus" bill that was constructed out of the usual "compromise" conditions that the communists have always obtained... If the communists want it, it's included... If the Americans want it, it's not in the compromise... Just read the details of what the POTUS and the GOP agreed to!

After Cuomo slammed Donald Trump for over an hour CNN and PMSNBC of course led with that story. Over on “Outnumbered” not a damn one on the program mentioned Cuomo slamming Trump and the Federal Government response. It was ignored.Fox is as liberal as the rest of them.
