It's not gloom and doom. It's reality bro. You're only going to be able to deny it for so long. I'm optimistic that President Trump will get it under control in 2 or 3 months. But it's not going away on it's own. One only has to look at other countries. There's no magic fairy waving a wand over America.
50 or so dead nationwide, 30 or so from one facility in WA. That is reality.
It will go away on it’s own. They always have and this one will as well.
Name one. Virus that has not?
But why would anyone want to court trouble like this? Do what you would do for any illness going around but don't wait with bated breath for the next installment of the imagined destruction and death of civilization.
Look out Ned it's coming right for us! Blam, Blam!
No, but it's March and the weather is getting warmer when viruses tend to vanish. So as much as some of you want this to continue, the odds are it won't.
In 2017 959,000 were hospitalized and 61,000 Americans died from the influenza...It was much worse than the swine flu of 2009....No media hype, no panic, people went on about their business.
I saw no reference to a magic wand. I read a question as to whether the Chicoms lied about the timing, which would be the basis for speculation regarding whether the US may have seen its first wave already, deep in the midst of flu season.
It was clearly speculation. I will agree that over optimistic speculation can be dangerous, but identifying routes of investigation to unravel the history of this outbreak is important.
Only time will tell us about this outbreak. Both investigation and voluntary isolation will play important parts.
I read your original reply as stating that the speculation of lying by the Chinese and earlier US exposure was not possible. Did I misunderstand your intent?
obama said that's what it would take for Trump to fix the economy.
Just sayin'...
