Floridians are experts at storm preparation. It is an annual ritual.


I was thinking the same. Everything was orderly at Publix. Just a bit more busy than usual. At no time the past few weeks have I seen hoarding type purchases.

That is because you probably have a stash at home already.

People in other parts,of the country don’t.

The crazy is mostly in parts of the country that don’t have ‘canes or week long blizzards.

Yup. When we first learned there was a dangerous virus, the next day our county had one of the first two FL cases. We didn’t have to wait and wonder. I said, “Looks like we need to start the storm prep a couple of months early this year.” Then we took inventory of stock needs and went shopping. Just another year in paradise.
