my sweetie gave me a vacuum sealer thingy next to last Christmas...little did we know.... And yes, I’ve found that hamburger vacuum sealed is just as red 2 months later as fresh pattied. And no freezer burn on the roasts. Really nice to have.
I bought one of those some years ago and mr. mm, who was (until the last couple weeks) never much on board with the prepping thing, asked me the usual...”Do we really need that?”
Then shortly after I bought it, he tried vacuum sealing some items and put them in the freezer, just to see what happened.
He is now the vacuum sealer master in the house. I bring home the meat and he whips it out and has a GREAT time.
I love the vacuum sealers I’ve seen in Runnings that come in camo.
How long does raw hamburger, steak, etc. last in the freezer without vacuum sealing? I just have it in there in packages. Am planning to use it either during a quarantine or when this crap is over.
