When I owned businesses, if there was some sort of downturn, the taxpayers didn't bail me out, nor did I expect them to.

Too Big To Fail... Crony Crapitalism is great, huh?

What I fear has happened to our country is we have abandoned any sense of paying down or reducing our debt

We have not suffered any consequences for accruing a big debt.

A recent example is Pres. Trump wanted 2 billion to attack the corona virus problem. The Republican's said, not enough, you need 4 billion. The Dems said not enough you need 8 Billion.
Trump says OK i'll take 8 billion.

It is like debt doesn't matter anymore.-Tom
