This was on our local news this morning and there was a short clip from a passenger who sat next to this guy’s wife. The passenger said the infected passenger wore a mask and gloves and sat in the back of the plane while his wife sat next to the guy making the video and told him that her husband had received a call before they boarded the plane about his test results. The wife stopped short of saying the man had tested positive but rather, intimated that he did.

I’m censoring my thoughts on this couple except to say that my sympathies lie with their victims.

Well before the travel ban, I had written that we should route all international travel to just a small handful of airports where incoming passengers could be quarantined and screened. Those who show symptoms or test positive move to a second or third level quarantine.

Now I’m not sure it matters much. Only travel allowed will be from South America and I guess a few ME countries.

New York is filled with rude, pompous people. Ok, not everyone, but they have more than their fair share.

I just moved to south Florida this year so I have learned fast on how rude and self-serving some of these people are. It makes perfect sense on why they jumped on the plane knowing they were sick.
