A passenger who caught a JetBlue flight from New York to Palm Beach had reportedly been told he tested positive for coronavirus moments before the plane took off.
Florida officials announced early on Thursday that a man had tested positive for the virus.
Passengers were forced to remain on Flight 253 for two additional hours as the aircraft stood on the tarmac instead of proceeding to gate C12 at the Palm Beach International Airport.
Another passenger on the plane claimed the man's wife told him they had been told of the result before take off.
The flight landed at 8.53pm from John F Kennedy International Airport in New York City and passengers were allowed off the aircraft at 10.45pm, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue explained to WPTV.

It isn't just a travel ban. It is a travel ban plus quarantine.
And the reason for it is that you want to encircle place of rampant infection and lock it down. You cannot do that if you keep creating new centers for the spread of the infection.

Yep, all these self-quarantines are clearly gonna work out just fine!
They know they have lost control of it.
So now you have to try to lessen effect as it sweeps the country in order not to overwhelm the system.
Many people here will get it. If they are 50 + they better have a plan.
