Interesting. Lisinopril is a diuretic, so I would have expected it to decrease potassium levels. That’s good it is just the opposite.

oh so I got it wrong...it’s the opposite. lower potassium.

I knew it was something about postassium...I just know when I mentioned the wrong dosage on the dirutic the Dr would not renew my prescription because thought I could have heart problems created by taking too much. I was outside and just misspoke but once I said it nothing else I could say would fix it.

It is the hctz in the combo medication that is the diuretic.
