I think the prospect of fighting this (and just living life normally) without any medical supplies is why all our leaders look shellshocked.
China has basically said they won’t be sending us any until they build up their own stockpiles. Which, IMHO, is code for ‘if wishes were otters we’d all wear fur coats’...And we will be lucky to get another pencillin tablet from ccp. Ever. Unless serious geopolitical changes occur (like we give up the pacific ocean and yada yada yada)

I am disappointed....no, shocked, that POTUS hasn’t mentioned the (Made in ChiCom) drug issue.
This alone could’ve been such a great rallying cry....we would all become Rosie Riviters in backing him, in order to bring back American drug manufacturing.
Rather....we hear not a peep about this. And, it WAS a big campaign item, for him (he IS Mr No More Dependence on Chiiii-nah). I posted an article, upthread, from 2017 where he vowed to bring back drug manufacturing to the USA.
What the heck happened??
This would’ve been a golden opportunity to make that promise, along with building the wall, etc. How much more safe/secure would we feel knowing our drugs are being made HERE, rather than a potential war enemy??
