Travis seems to be quiet on his explanation of the photo. I saw the video of the men using, what Travis thinks are yard blowers, spraying down an area with a liquid sanitizer. On their backs are black tanks filled with the chemical. You pump up the tanks with air with a built in pump like any yard sprayer.

The hysteria is for a reason. I am waiting for the hysteria to attempt to stop Trump’s rallies. They do not want these rallies to illustrate Trump’s popularity and get his message out. They will try but it won’t work because we see through their B.S.

Great analogy..he could be making this the proof of the dangers of globalism and the export of American companies overseas. He could be saying I saw this coming and now we have to stop it. He needs to be on a war time footing with this. I get it that he doesn't want to panic the public but how long does he continue to give such mixed messages about it.

This is a real crisis. The medical systems of every country in the world where this virus takes root overwhelms and destroys their healthcare system. No healthcare system in the world can handle the amount of critically ill people that this virus generates. That's why governments globally are trying to slow or stop it. It's an economy killing virus.

He's the right man for the job. But you have to deal with reality. President Trump has two jobs: Manage the crisis and avoid panic. If you had watched the press conference yesterday you would have seen the management side. He takes the virus seriously. He's thrown all the resources of the federal government at it. But some look at the tweets designed to calm panic and misinterpret them to mean there is no danger of any kind from the virus. That's just plain wrong and will end up getting people killed and hospitalized.

If you are over 65, or at any age if you have any co-morbid condition (diabetes, heart cond. etc), you are put outside the treatment triage. There simply are not enough staff or ICU beds or lung machines for all. You will not get into ICU, no oxygen intubation, you will just die. This is why Italy’s death rate is so high.
I think the USA will resemble Italy, not S. Korea or Taiwan, where they got way out in front of CV with massive early testing programs, early contract tracing, quarantine and social isolation EARLY.
In the USA, we missed those critical weeks and months of preparation.

1/ ‘I feel the pressure to give you a quick personal update about what is happening in Italy, and also give some quick direct advice about what you should do.
2/ First, Lumbardy is the most developed region in Italy and it has a extraordinary good healthcare, I have worked in Italy, UK and Aus and don’t make the mistake to think that what is happening is happening in a 3rd world country.
3/ The current situation is difficult to imagine and numbers do not explain things at all. Our hospitals are overwhelmed by Covid-19, they are running 200% capacity
4/ We’ve stopped all routine, all ORs have been converted to ITUs and they are now diverting or not treating all other emergencies like trauma or strokes. There are hundreds of pts with severe resp failure and many of them do not have access to anything above a reservoir mask.
5/ Patients above 65 or younger with comorbidities are not even assessed by ITU, I am not saying not tubed, I’m saying not assessed and no ITU staff attends when they arrest. Staff are working as much as they can but they are starting to get sick and are emotionally overwhelmed.
6/ My friends call me in tears because they see people dying in front of them and they con only offer some oxygen. Ortho and pathologists are being given a leaflet and sent to see patients on NIV. PLEASE STOP, READ THIS AGAIN AND THINK.

This is a reasonable response.
I’m not saying it won’t cause us grief. It could. I’m not an expert on infectious disease so I’m not going to wax prophetic about what will and will not happen. It might be a nothingburger. Or it might be somewhat bad. Or it might be biblically bad.
The boy scout is motto is to always be prepared. Prepare you and yours, the rest belongs to God.
The point I was making earlier is that, right now, I have a greater fear of the political consequences for our society as a whole. Covid-19 could prove to be a disaster, but even if it is, we will deal with it as necessary. However, my point is that the disaster of a slide in authoritarian socialism is much harder to address.
The problem is that the official data is incomplete. There’s not enough testing going on for us to really know what’s happening.
Of course, the rational response to that is “let’s do more testing” which is one of the lines PDJT is pushing, but the media’s reaction “OMG we’re all dead!”
You have nailed it! ‘Never let a good crisis go to waste’ is the media gospel. If it is not yet a crisis, they are sure they can get it hyped to that level with their propaganda methodology.
