British guest on MSNBC Live has sparked outrage after saying 'many people' consider Meghan Markle to be 'five clicks up from trailer trash'.
The show's anchor, Lindsey Reiser, ended the interview about Prince Harry and Meghan stepping back from royal duties immediately following the remark from British reporter Victoria Mather.
The comment from the journalist - who has worked for The Telegraph and Vanity Fair - came as she was discussing how the Duchess of Sussex has been 'disrespectful' to the royal family and its protocol.
'I think what has really, really upset the British public is that Meghan Markle, who many people consider as only, you know, five clicks up from trailer trash, has actually tried to disrespect the queen,' she said.
'And the queen is the most respected person, most respected woman, in the world.'
In the five-minute interview that preceded the shocking comment Mather said that 'Hollywood celebrity' Meghan didn't want to stay in the royal family because she would be 'second-best' to her sister-in-law Kate Middleton.
She said: 'I don't think Meghan Markle wanted to spend the rest of her life looking at Kate Middleton's back as she sat in the second row to the future queen. I don't think she wanted — she didn't want to be second best.
The duke and duchess returned to the UK this week to complete their final official royal duties after moving to Canada.

Miss Markle’s behavior toward, and low regard for her family is enough evidence that her mother was woefully inadequate in bringing her up with admirable social values. Her common treatment of her father, and her encouragement of Harry to abandon his own family and duties speaks volumes about her class and ranking in contemporary society. This reporter was more than generous in giving her five clicks.
She and Harry are supposed to make “an announcement” tomorrow of some kind. Hope for his sake it’s not another pregnancy announcement.

If the Queen and the Queen Mum had not interfered Charles and Camilla would have celebrated close to 50 years of marriage. The aforementioned did not feel that Camilla was “regal” enough. Like it or not she was and still is the love of Charles’ life.

Being second to Kate Middleton is quite an honor; and Meghan has turned herself into trailer trash.
