DRY RIDGE, Ky. —
A Northern Kentucky woman faces several charges, accused of concealing the birth of her newborn child and hiding its remains in a plastic bag under a pile of laundry.
Pamela Davis, 24, faces charges of abuse of a corpse and concealing the birth of an infant.
According to a court summons, authorities were called to Davis' Grant County home on Vallandingham Drive on Feb. 17, where Davis had been bleeding for hours.
Davis was taken by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Edgewood Hospital in Edgewood, where doctors told investigators she either recently gave birth or was raped.
Court documents state Davis told investigators she had not been pregnant and had not given birth. She also refused to allow authorities to search her home.
Doctors did additional testing, the documents state, and medical professionals said her beta-HCG hormone levels were at 3,000, which indicated she likely gave birth within the last 24 hours.
Still Davis denied she had given birth, officials said. She then told officials that she had a large Doberman in the house and was having problems with her septic tank.
Authorities said they obtained a probable cause warrant and searched her home. Court documents say investigators scoured the home, searching its bathroom, bathtub, sinks, plumbing and septic tank for evidence of a childbirth.
That warrant was executed Feb. 19.

I really don’t understand this phenomenon of irrational and delusional behavior. They never say if the mother is strung out on drugs, but that’s the only thing I can think of that would explain this level of dumb decisions piled on each other.
Every state in the union has a safe haven or baby moses law can not understand why women do not use them.

So this gal leaves her newborn to die and now faces criminal charges but a doctor can let a newborn die if it’s part of an abortion and that’s perfectly fine.

This will not go well for her.
Exactly! Surrendering a baby is made easy and anonymous so what the hell is going on in the heads of these women who make such a serial set of irrational and catastrophic choices? Not to mention the pathetic and incompetent lies and attempts at concealment.
Why are their problem solving skills low to nonexistent? They are either psychotic or chronically strung out on drugs.
Maybe the mothers are strung out on drugs.
Yes, but a normal person would be able to problem solve for that, normal people would provide a medical history.
There is something super wrong in their heads.
