Definitely better, same for planes. Although the key is how much fresh air versus recycled air is used. I suspect that will be addressed in the aftermath of this disaster.
the airlines claim their HEPA filters are better than hospital quality, but I guess that depends on where the filters are located in relation to one’s seat. I dunno if you saw the non-scientific video I put up about dirty airplanes, but, in order, headrest #1 dirtiest, then safety card pocket, then bathroom handle, then tray then seatbelt.
Makes sense the headrest would be dirtiest because people have a habit of using them as a walking aid as they board.
