There were times in the first few years after my injury that I didn’t leave the house for 50 days or more.

I was on SSDI though.

You get SO lonely. At least I had my cat.

Isolation is hard. I rode submarines for Uncle Sam a few months at a time, but I had others stuck there too. Alone would be tougher. A dog or cat would help but it still can’t be no peach. Life throws people some crap sometimes. You make your choices and hope for the best. Sometimes you get the bear and sometimes the bear gets you.

With a viral quarantine could I at least take a daily drive to SEE people??!!

I was on complete bedrest for 10 weeks when I was pregnant with twins, and back then we didn’t have a laptop or smart phones. I had the TV and the phone. I couldn’t read much because meds I was on made that difficult.

I managed that ok, so I think others can handle a quarantine ok.
