Tell us about your grocery trips (and give city or county, please).

Any shortages we should know about?

I’m in Tuolumne County, CA. Near Yosemite. No hand sanitizer anywhere. Some bare spaces in over the counter medicines, so far...

Rural Missouri/Ozarks. No shortages of anything, people oblivious. Sooner or later, people stocking up in other places will have an effect on us but by then, I’ll be stocked up. Just went to Dollar General and bought TP. Also got paper plates and paper towels in the usual amounts and some soda for the wife and used our $5 off on Saturday coupon. Got another $5 coupon for next Saturday and will get mostly TP on that trip. Pretty much looked like normal shopping and it kind of is. That’s where we always buy our paper products and soda. I go to one grocery store and buy almost nothing but meat because they have decent deals, I know when the day old discount stuff gets put out, plus all other meat I buy is on sale and everything else there is pricey. Canned stuff I get from wally world. I have no idea what the cashiers think of me and don’t care. I would imagine at least some of the cashiers at my meat source store just think I’m smart. They read off how much I saved and it’s often in the 30% range. They read it off as “You saved $11 today” of course but they can see the total too.
