Consider how horrible it is for the thousands of people who are dying from these other causes in care facilities and are not allowed to have any visitors. My heart goes out to them and their loved ones.
My friend has a 96 year old dad in a retirement home. He was there with his wife who has Alzheimers. She got where the retirement home couldn’t help to care for her so they put her in their Memory Care Unit which is separate from the Retirement. He used to go up to see her every day and now he can’t do that. Also his daughter would come to see them very often. When it went into shut down visitors would come to the patients windows and talk to them. Now they can’t even do that because it was to confusing to others who didn’t understand why people were outside windows. It is so sad.
