I didn’t even think of laparoscopic. You’re right. I don’t know how they repair a hole in the colon. Some artificial material to seal it up or sew the stronger parts together?

I mean the hole is not there anymore but it’s not strong the part that healed

Yep- They will cut out the weak area- then splice the two ends together- they have a tool that cuts then staples it kinda all in one shot- I’m not sure if they sew by hand anymore- but they can do so laproscopically pretty easily these days- it will take a little while, but it will become just as strong when it heals-

The laproscopic procedure is a true Godsend- can go home the next day with some procedures- used to take days-

Hopefully, they will use miracle glue .
If they use staples, he'll never be able to use
a microwave oven without a certain tingle going through his body !
Wrong place to have a tingle !
