There’s a 25 year old Brit who teaches in Wuhan who told his story. Healthy, no underlying conditions. He thought he was going to die.

We saw that here as well in late December. Over the school break on girl died from complications and several others were hospitalized. The school mysteriously sent in people to deep clean before the kids came back.
The had another outbreak and shut down the school again for cleaning in mid-January.
On the community Facebook group parents were saying it was one of the worst flu going through the family. Several more were hospitalized and recovered.
I am now wondering if it was all the flu?
I think they should separate the two strains into different diseases.
COVID-19L and COVID-19S. One is like the flu, the other is deadly.

Exactly. What will they call the next mutation? If it’s endemic like the flu or common cold, how does daily life change?

It appears that they are making it psychologically alright to let the old ones die off. Keep in mind they have been preparing them to accept that consequence for decades. Consider the contempt of the phrase...Ok Boomer...
I had a client call and cancel two trips the other night. She said she wasn’t worried she wasn’t in the affected age group...I reminded her I am. She tried to dissuade my concerns and explanations, I think she was ultimately embarrassed for saying what she did. Ending with platitudes of “you will be fine.”
Bucks County PA. Is closing 5 schools today. No confirmed cases but people who came in contact with patients has occurred. Doing deep clean of buildings.
Well the Iranian regime isn’t exactly displaying too much competence in dealing with the COVID-19 outbreak in their country...I would’t make too much of the “quicklime”/corpse mention...

I think we need to isolate congress, White House, Judges and other important leaders.
If you look at the average age there we could loose a lot of important people in powerful offices.
Honestly...there is not a single one more important than a citizen.
We are all just people. They will get it, they will get sick. And two or three will die.

Don’t worry, they’ll come out of it, once they see everyone around them panicking.
