A place to consolidate CoronaVirus Stories
True, but I’ve had more than one domestic connection in the international terminal. You just never know.
No doubt those he’s met with have concerns....best to get tested if you’ve been around someone who has been confirmed with it. However I think certain people won’t bother, esepcially if they’re foreign or illegals.

Santa Clara County, CA recommends postponing or canceling large events, in particular events where attendees are within arm’s length
There are fewer than 100 guests and crew identified for testing, including all in-transit guests (guests who sailed the previous Mexico voyage and remained onboard for the current Hawaii voyage), those guests and crew who have experienced influenza-like illness symptoms on this voyage, and guests currently under care for respiratory illness, the release read.
I don't think the Cruise Line is listening to the State and Feds. They are talking 100% testing, and if there are ANY positive tests, a full quarantine.

No, Vietnam!
First I’ve heard of anyone reopening schools. Rest of schools to reopen March 8.

“substantial increase”
half of it was probably being shipped overseas until Fed-X/UPS dropped flights and the only avenue left was USPS and sky-high postage put a kabosh on that.
Remember the story of the pharm in NY where the lady wanted to pay $600 for their entire stock of masks? And the pixs early on of shopping carts filled with just masks? same same with hand sanitizers and gloves. At a time we had no domestic cases
Looks like Santa Clara county wants to cancel San Jose Sharks game.
Great line from Breaking Bad applies here:
“No half measures.”
is this a vision test? ‘cause I failed if it is :0
Are you kidding me?
How many other people (outside the company) are infected in Boston now.
In a week or two that will be another hot spot—almost certain.
That local CVS should be reported to Corporate. Surely that is not something they would condone.
But then again..maybe the Regional Manager told them to do it.
Plus they arent very sanitary now by pulling them out of the box.
Lowes and Homedepot are stocking up on paper goods getting ready. Lowes had plenty of everything except masks and sanitizer. Didnt check gloves
My home state.
Grand total of eight tests, zero positive.
When they get enough test kits (don’t know if they have them yet) they need to start testing hospital patients with respiratory symptoms....stat!
Same as what Dr. Nancy Snyderman and her tv crew did during the Ebola scare. They came back from Africa, one of the crew died of it iirc, so were quarantined. Of course, she knew best so went out to get restaurant food.
I’ve been to two grocery stores in Missouri in the last two days (no known cases yet reported in Mo.) The ‘Show Me’ state stores seem balanced at this point.
What I mean is there is no panic buying, but canned goods, water, disinfectant and toilet paper were definitely much lower in stock. It will be an interesting month.
Seems wise to go ahead and have some essentials for a couple months since the masses are prone to panic. Truly will be glad when this is over.
Also, there will be a lot of people buying to sell for a profit.
Have seens pics of Vendors selling masks and alcohol on the streets.
Capitalism
Many of the deaths will be shuffled off to their underlying conditions.
