AUSTIN, Texas Wendy Davis has won the Democratic nomination in Texas Congressional District 21. She will run against incumbent Chip Roy in the general election on Nov. 3 to determine who will represent the district in the U.S. House of Representatives.
AP called the race as Davis was ahead by a wide margin over her opponent, Jennie Lou Leeder.
Davis rose to fame after delivering a nearly 13-hour filibuster as a Texas State Senator in 2013. In 2014, Davis lost to Gov. Greg Abbott in Texas gubernatorial race.
Texas Congressional District 21 spans from Austin to San Antonio and covers Blanco and Gillespie counties.
According to Davis official campaign website, some of the issues she stands for include affordable healthcare for all Texans, common sense action regarding gun laws and reducing carbon emissions in the U.S.
More details on Davis policies can be found on her website.
Roy defeated Democrat Joseph Kopser in the 2018 general election. He filed for reelection in early December.
In 2014, she took a double digit @ss whipping from Gov. Greg Abbott.
Fetuses everywhere are trembling in fear-
Ping.
Brings back memories of when Ann Coulter was actually worth a damn....
because I believe Coulter was the one who came up with Abortion Barbie.
If the district covers Austin to San Antonio, I’m thinking it is very liberal?
Go to hell Wendy!
Go to hell Wendy!
Go to hell Wendy!
Chip Roy is the best things to happen to Texas in a coons age. Mustn’t let this one get away.........pray and donate, pray and donate. We don’t need that skank in WDC or anywhere for that matter!!!

As whack O lib as they come.
Chip has a fight for sure.
They love her in Austin.
Heard today, since 2016 election, 2.5mil new comers to TX. Most 30ish. ..snowflake lib’s. The local DNC is all giddy.
I thought that name looked familiar,
so, Abortion Barbie is back. Still have those sneakers she used to wear?
Erick Erickson did.
Thanks. I guess I just heard Ann use it.
Abortion Barbie (and her sneakers).
Love IT!
Is that not about the same area Ma Ann Richards was from? Another loser.
This district was formerly safely Republican. No more, with it now reaching into Austin.
