Has anyone else noticed an uptick of emergency alert tests lately? We’re getting them on the radio frequently and I don’t recall them before.
Not here in N.Ga. Hubby dusted off the old police scanner last night to see what kinds of things might be going on. It’s pretty quiet around here so far.
Got one on the tv, yesterday. And, although it was on mute, EA test still buzzed through. I thought that was interesting.
When I worked at radio stations we would see they’re often scheduled early in the month. It’s a monthly requirement that the EBS system is tested, much like tornado sirens in prone areas of the country.
