All of the schools in the Northshore School District will be closed for up to two weeks to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and take care of staffers, the district’s superintendent said Wednesday evening in a letter to parents.

I heard this last night while listening to Clyde Lewis on Ground Zero.
All I could think of was a bunch of our younger counterparts saying, “OK Boomer!” I woke up considering how said it would be for them and their children to lose their Grandparents.
As I am typing this over my first cup of coffee and catching up on this thread; the thought that they have been propagandized about having to pay for an aging population’s care is something to hate. And how far they have fallen from “honor they father and mother.” The fact they see SS as a benefit, not something earned.
Just sad grim thoughts regarding our society. How much does a society lose if their elders are wiped out? Let’s hope for many that the healthy lifestyles of many of those over 60 have adopted is going to be enough to keep them on the lower end of the death scale.
