You probably know all this but for those who don’t, if there’s still rubbing alcohol - 91% alcohol on the pharm shelves, that, and a few squirts of your left-over summer aloe gel to thicken it up gets you some fine hand sanitizer at about 75-80% alcohol. (Aloe gel is at 99cent stores and can probably thicken 4 or 5 bottles of rubbing alcohol. If the 99cent version is a little thin with water, it’s ok, you need water to help the alcohol stay on the skin longer)
If you have any saline booger wipes for babies, drain off some of the saline from a fresh pack and pour in some of that 91% alcohol, and you’ve got little alcohol wipes. (I’m not a chemist so I don’t know how alcohol works with other than saline-only wipes, but I do know you can mix rubbing alcohol with salt without creating any bubbling caldron of gasses)
It will be fine if either (ethanol or rubbing alcohol) + salt.
Great idea on the wipes...to add the alcohol.
