“long-term this is going to start a war”
The embedded assumption in that statement is that this virus is a bioweapon, released intentionally or by accident.
It’s a shitty bioweapon if so. Piss poor.
No, this is a product of the filthy, rancid stew that is China. And it rose up out of the sewer.
And it could start a war anyway. Even without war several governments are at risk, and some will fall.
actually that is not an implied assumption. I think if it was artificial it was accidental release of something they were doing experiments with. apparently work in this vein was done at UNC a few years ago. sloppy controls. bats can be sold for cash down the street. i have lived in 3rd world much of my life and it makes perfect sense.
the concept I see is major destabilization of the world geo-political balance, including governments and economies, has a much higher chance of real wars starting that the way things were up until now. I am not naming who fights who, just that the pot is really getting stirred and some players may see opportunities that weren’t viable before. I am not saying next week, just over the years to come.
Countries that feel like they are going down, wont go down alone.
Its stupid. But war games are like that.
