It is a Catch 22.
If you cancel events people who were not prepared start panicking.
If you don’t cancel the virus spreads quickly.
This is a terrible time to be a local official.
It’s a terrible time to be any official I think, even worse to be a first responder in the near future.
At what point is local/regional quarantine less financially painful than possible full blown overwhelming of our hospitals and the resulting panic?
