The numbers don’t address how many people are asymptomatic of have symptoms of a mild cold. Several papers, one co authored by Dr. Fauci say death rate could be < 1% when asymptomatic and mild symptomatic people are factored in.

You're right. However the same is true for the CFR for seasonal flu and the Spanish Flu. So in my opinion, I think they still provide a valid comparison.

Deal with reality - 10 people got it in a nursing home, and so far 5 have died ...

Apparently this virus does not come with sinus//nasal symptoms. So, if one gets mildly sick with sinus issues - it’s probably a cold.
