Is it less deadly than the flu? I think we’ll find out the answer to that as time goes on in Kirkland at the care facility. With two already dead, it’s already slightly ahead of average for a flu season.
Honestly, I could have lived a very very long life without ever wanting to test the theory. Regretfully, containment is never going to be 100% and hot spots will happen. I just hope it doesn’t reach the general population.

Is it though? Per the Johns Hopkins numbers (173 deaths, 792 recoveries), the current fatality rate for the new virus, excluding the Chinese numbers, is at 17.9%. Which is about 35x higher than the average flu CFR.
