Unless the hospital is being paid you the Feds to keep the beds open under some sort of emergency protocol.
Oh, never-mind, I found it!
The tally includes 40 passengers from the Diamond Princess cruise ship!
Rut-Roh.
Thats not good. No wonder Fredos brother is all serious.
Both are very corrosive to objects. I’m thinking O3 more than the UV.
Instapundit: JUST SAW MIKE BLOOMBERGS CORONAVIRUS COMMERCIAL. He looks and sounds like an audio-animatronic robot, spouting platitudes. Whatever he spent on this, it was too much.
Youll be the first one to call for a Chinese style lockdown too.
Doubtful that will ever happen in the US.
I got both shots and was fine with the first one and reacted to the second, but that was me because of the immune system disorder I have that I become sensitized to stuff very easily.
It was an allergic/mast cell reaction that nobody else really needs to worry about.
But I’m glad they are under my belt.
I figured that for me, the risk of reacting to the vaccine was less than the risk of ending up in the hospital being given other drugs to fight it that I would react to also.
It was the lesser of two evils in my book.
Some die.
Good, thanks!
Time has sped up and slowed down. Crazy. Thanks for reminding us when this started.
“I think South Korea is the best indicator how the virus will act in the US”
Reasonable. I thought the same.
BUT...
Korea doesn’t have our heating systems that raise air temps to 100+ F. They use mostly floor system of heat.
That may be our ‘saving grace’ ins this.
China, of course, doesn’t heat at all. Except in tourist hotels.
Covid no like heat.
Conversely, warm external temps won’t inhibit the virus if countered by air conditioning.
I don’t have a link, but there is some sort of international law agreed to by the muckety mucks at the UN that nations wouldn’t unfairly cut transportation to an infected area. It was mumbled about right after the US took the first step cancelling flights to and from Wuhan. Called illegal and such by China. So that’s probably why, we’re doing the ‘hot zone’ stuff. Being consistent while walking a thin rope.
I apologize for writing that.
Whatever the scope of COVID-19, I firmly believe that the US can overcome.
I also think that President Trump has worked wonders regardless of a bureaucracy that often fought him mightily, and a federal judiciary that has made the use of nationwide injunction as common as the flu.
Thank you, Denethor.
Hey, noob,......
Do you know what IBTZ means?
I’m sure everyone will be pleased to know that the Pope is not down with CV, at least not yet:

I had a friend who did an expat gig in Shanghai. She left after year because because of the air quality and the food. She spent most of her life in Asia as an ex-pat but really hated China,
