I thought the same. I don’t know much about S Korea. But, being from Spain and having visited Italy, I’m thinking SK May be more efficient and aggressive.

Yeah, the newest China data shows slower spread than originally feared. Likely due to their draconian quarantines.
But the mortality rate shows higher than originally reported.

Prayers for those folks. Several weeks ago I had read that 29(?) people in nursing homes in Washington state had died of the flu. And now this.

If you’re over 70 anything that gives you pneumonia is deadly.
The media reports on flu deaths every year.
No one pays attention. Why? Because it’s “normal.” Hospitals staff for it. They are literally built for the peaks.
This thing happened at the same time. Hospitals could not handle the additional traffic.
People don’t understand how stuff works. Therefore, they freak out.
